Action Report: Bettors split on Bulls-Cavs, like road fave Clippers Tuesday

There is a pair of games in the NBA Playoffs Tuesday evening as the Chicago Bulls visit the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Houston Rockets try to stave off elimination versus the Los Angeles Clippers.

In the Eastern Conference, the series shifts to Cleveland tied 2-2 with the last two games ending with dramatic buzzer beaters courtesy of Derrick Rose (Game 3) and LeBron James (Game 4).

According to Michael Stewart of online shop CarbonSports.ag, bettors are firmly on one side in moneyline markets with a smaller gap in spread markets.

"The Cavs are seeing the majority of the action on the moneyline with 82 percent," Stewart tells Covers. "The Bulls are getting 63 percent of the action to cover the +5 on the road."

Things are different at TopBet, however. According to Brad Kennedy, their players are on the Cavs in both markets as 72 percent of moneyline wagers are backing the Cavs, as well as 69 percent of spread bets.

Through four games, the Over/Under count is split at 2-2 and, according to Stewart, 67 percent of the action coming in is backing Over 191.

Out West, the Houston Rockets hope to stay alive in Game 5 against the Los Angeles Clippers who can close things out in Texas Tuesday.

The Clippers won back-to-back games on their home floor to take a commanding 3-1 series lead and bettors like them to cover as road faves Tuesday.

"After their two dominating performances in L.A., the Clippers open as 2.5-point faves on the road," Stewart tells Covers. "With the action pouring in on the Clippers to cover, we went to Clippers -3 and they are currently getting 70 percent of the action to cover."

TopBet's Brad Kennedy confirms that 79 percent of action in spread markets are backing the Clippers, while 68 percent of moneyline action is on the visiting Clippers.

In moneyline betting at Carbon, Stewart states 57 percent of action is backing the home Rockets in Game 5.

Despite the Over/Under count at 4-0 through the first four games of the series, the total is seeing solid two-way action with a slight lean to the under courtesy of 52 percent at of the action at Carbon and 60 percent on the under at TopBet.
