Weekend Review: He may be all talk but njåguar's story headlines the weekend online

What a week! We say that a lot on PokerStars. Typically there's something going on somewhere that makes it an extraordinary weekend. So when a relatively ordinary one comes along, you know, one with millions up for grabs and a major event coming to a close in South Korea, it's worth acknowledge it and appreciating the dose of normality it brings to our lives.

But somehow it never feels that ordinary. There's a Sunday Million each week, preceded by a Warm-Up, which we write about here on the PokerStars Blog, but one is never really like any other. Look no further than this week.

As Kristen Bihr wrote in her Sunday Million report, it was hard to tell whether eventual winner njåguar was more excited about the first prize or about having his chat ban temporarily lifted. He went on a rampage, both at the table and in the chat box, which is worth reading in full here. Sometimes a player at the table won't shut up, and in this case the report at least is better for it.

Over in the warm-Up there were all sorts of players in the mix right up to the end, which David Aydt will fill you in on here. Just like in the Million, there's always something to talk about.

As I mentioned earlier, events in South Korea came to a conclusion as the APPT found its winner in Seoul. Jason Mo took honours in a final table that featured the likes of Celina Lin and Bryan Huang, who narrowly missed out on the title, finishing second. You can catch up on all the action from there, and read Brad Kain's wrap of things, on our APPT Seoul pages.

But you don't have to win big to get at least a small mention. The weekend was all about winners, with the full list of all the latest champions listed at the link below. First though, the top ten winners of the weekend.

$215 Sunday Million: njåguar (Canada) $183,000.00
$215 Sunday Warm-Up: Mastercard1 (Germany) $90,972.74
$530 Sunday 500: HealTheWorld (Germany) $71,910.00

$162 Sunday 6-Max: TrankiNLVida (Uruguay) $25,856.52
$109 Sunday Kickoff: madnutscrazy (India) $17,146.00

That's all from this ordinary weekend. Next weekend things get less ordinary, with the arrival of the fourth anniversary of the Sunday Storm. To mark the occasions it'll look a little different. The buy-in will be the same - still just $11, or even less if you want to win your way in via satellite - but the prize pool will be, well, bigger. There's a $1 million guarantee for a start, with at least $100,000 of that going to the winner. Find out more details here.

For now, congratulations to all the weekend's winners. Check out the full results on PokerStars for the weekend April 11-12, 2015, right here.

Good luck at the tables.
