PokerStars releases 67-tournament EPT Malta schedule

As things stand you might feel a little frustrated about the newly announced EPT Malta Festival coming up in March 2015. Because just as you realise how much there is to see on that beautiful island (seriously, we've been), PokerStars is about to give you 67 reasons not to see any of it.

Today PokerStars announced the schedule for the newest edition to the EPT calendar, a 67-event Festival like no other, with the €5,000 Main Event at its heart, and all staged in Malta's Portomaso Casino in the picturesque seaside resort of St Julian's.

But like we said, you might not see any of that.

To start with they'll be 24 hour cash games to keep you indoors throughout the festival, which runs from March 18-28, 2015. Then of course there are the tournaments, the highlights, aside from the Main, being two high rollers: a €25K tournament, and a "regular" €10K tournament.

Just as in previous festivals the EPT will be joining forces with a regional tour, in this case the Italian Poker Tour, which will host the IPT Malta Main Event, as well as the IPT High Roller, both of which will likely attract the enormous fields they have become known for.

They'll be six Flipout tournaments, and five midnight tournaments, with satellites at 11am. In a break from the hold'em tradition there will be four EPT Stud Championship events--a €1K Stud, Stud Hi/Lo, Razz and Triple Stud. And as in previous festivals there will be a Junior, Senior and Women's event on the schedule.

Finally, you can get yourself a game of Super Hold'em, Deuces Wild, Crazy Pineapple as well as some turbo limit hold'em action.

To start planning your Malta trip check out the entire festival schedule on the EPT website, where you'll also find details of how to get to Malta, then to the casino, and then where to stay. Needless to say you can deal with all that in one fell swoop by qualifying for EPT Malta via satellite, details of which can be found on the EPT website and on the PokerStars client.

Beautiful scenery and spectacular views? That's what windows are for.

We'll see you in Malta.
