Poker pro Ronny “1-ronnyr3” Kaiser had one of the best performances in the online poker world over the past week. The cash game grinder, who hails from Switzerland, won $283,086 since Jan. 15 after a little over 1,000 hands of play, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB.
Unknown player “Educa-p0ker” won $295,014, which was tops during the stretch. Other poker players who had solid weeks include Alex “Kanu7” Millar ($35,760), Alexandre “BiatchPeople” Luneau ($33,725) and Mikael “ChaoRen160” Thuritz ($29,096).
On the flip side, “wilhasha” (-$366,490), Rafi “refaelamit” Amit (-$111,406), Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky (-$49,746) and Jens “Jeans89” Kyllönen (-$40,000) all had losing weeks.
There were six pots over the past week on PokerStars worth a little more than $100,000. Four of them were at $100-$200 no-limit hold’em. Wilhasha actually won the largest hand of the week ($111,524) when his J 10 flopped a flush against the A A of Educa-p0ker. The former was able to dodge another heart and win the hand.
Unofficially, because many players opt out of having their long-term results tracked, Educa-p0ker is the year’s biggest winner so far with $366,366. Unknown “Aron0621” leads the other way with $160,594 in losses. Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has lost $115,592 on 2016.
