Just 48 players remain on six tables. There's about 20 minutes left within the day.

5.57pm: Happy HiatullahPokerStars qualifier Sabina Hiatullah has just doubled up, the Italian lady was delighted to peer her A♦J♥ beat Olgun Ercan's J♦T♦ after the previous called all-in. The board came 4♥7♣8♦K♣4♣ and Hiatullah now has about 720,000.

5.48pm: Botond doubles upEureka4 Prague champion Balazs Botond has just doubled to 925,000 after he got all his chips in with A♥A♣ against Benjamin Rummler's T♣T♥. The board came 4♥9♣J♦J♥6♣ and Rummler was left crippled.

5.36pm: I AM NOT your buddy GuyOzgur Arda is the most recent player to succumb to the chip leader Guy Bachar. Arda held J♥J♠ to Bachar's Q♣Q♦ and the board came K♥6♥9♦T♥7♦. Bachar is as much as 1.75 million, he's got a large lead at this point.

5.30pm: Level 22 - 8,000/16,000 (2,000)This would be the final level of the day.

5.25pm: O'Dwyer resurgenceIt's been a perfect last hour for EPT champion Steve O'Dwyer, the Irishman is back as much as over a milion, thanks partially to his elimination of Giuseppe Comitini. The Italian made a stand for his last 150,000 with A♦9♦ and O'Dwyer made the decision with J♥J♦. There have been no surprises at the 4♠3♣K♦4♥T♠ board.

5.10pm: Epic FeilA short-stacked Gianfranco Mazzariello was eliminated, he pushed with A♥7♥ but Michael Feil found T♦T♠ and the board bricked out.

4.59pm: Two more out of the doorLuca Pazzaglini is out, running 9♥9♠ into Georgios Zisimopoulos' J♥J♦. Also gone is Mats Karlsson, who was all in with A♥J♥ by the river of an A♠8♣8♦5♠4♦ board but couldn't beat Mke Neuens' 9♣8♠. Neuens moves back as much as 780,000.

4.35pm: Level 21 - 6,000/12,000 (2,000)Just 63 players remain in IPT Malta and Guy Bachar is the chip leader with 1.5 million. Other players still involved include Hugo Lemaire, Steve O'Dwyer, Jamila Von Perger, Bryan Paris and JC Alvarado. They'll be playing two more levels after which play will end for the day.
