There are just 14.31 million chips in play on this tournament. On the end of Day 2, Bulgarian Yasen Dichev had 2.047 million, good for 14% of them.
Dichev crushed Day 2
Dichev surged from prior to the dinner break right until the end, and his juggernaut rise during the counts never slowed. Eliminating players, bullying the table, he was non-stop aggression.
A total of 248 players started the day, and when all was said and done 10 levels later we had just 28 players left. The opposite biggest stack of 1.636 million belonged to Moshe Eliyahu; he ended the day widespread by eliminating Nihat Karyagdi who rivered a six-high straight while Eliyahu rivered a seven-high straight.
Etisyahu ended the day on a high
Of course, it's never an afternoon 2 on this stuff without the announcement of the prize pool and payouts. The €561,630 prize pool meant there can be a €107,350 first-place prize looking forward to the winner. Meanwhile, a min-cash would get you €1,740, and 87 players can be guaranteed that amount.
The bubble burst at half past six, and the unlucky soul who left with nothing was Gheorghe Bogdan Ionescu in 88th. He got it in good together with his Ace-Queen versus Florian Dimitrie Duta's Jack-nine, but Duta flopped the nut straight and Ionescu couldn't recover. You'll be able to watch the instant his heart sank below, way to a video filmed by our photographer Tomas Stacha.
Other players who didn't make the money include Russian oligarch Anatoly Korochensky, Australian Poker Hall of Famer Jason Gray, Cornel 'The Biker' Pazaria, and Blazej Przgorezewski.
Meanwhile, players who secured a cash before busting included the chip leader in the beginning of the day, Victor Emanuel Beteringhe (30th, €2,860); and the chip leader for a lot of today Marian Virlanuta (36th, €2,530).
Play on Day 3 starts at 1pm tomorrow, so be sure you join us back here then as we play right down to a last table. Until then, have an even night!

Play on Day 2 has come to an end. We'll have a recap of all the day up shortly.
11:50pm: Last six handsLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
The clock is paused and we'll play six more hands before we're done.
11:28pm: Sneaky seven surges EliyahuLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
I only caught the action at the river, but Moshe Eliyahu has just taken down a large pot and edged over the million mark.
Nihat Karyagdi got about half one million all-in against Eliyahu along with his 8♣6♣ for a six-high straight at the 3♥4♠J♥2♣5♦ board. Problem was that Eliyahu had a six too - and a seven to make his the next straight.
Eliyahu is as much as around 1.1 million now.
Eliyahu's happy
11:16pm: The last stretchLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
There's now just 45 minutes of Level 20 left before our surviving players bag and tag their chips ready for Day 3. Be sure to stick around to peer who makes it.

11:04pm: Ace from space saves IonescuLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
Wow, that was a heck of a river. Yordan Yordanov Mitrentsov opened to 23,000 just for Adrian Ionescu to transport all-in for 112,000 and Alexandru Daniel Strugut to re-shove for 122,000. The unique raiser folded and the cards were flipped.
Ionescu: A♥T♦Strugut: Q♠Q♦
The flop was the 6♣8♣7♣, keeping the women out in front, and the turn was the 3♦, which also changed nothing. However the A♠ at the river changed everything.
Both players slammed the table mutually very loudly, and for extraordinarily different reasons. Ionescu greater than doubled to around 165,000, while a couple of hands later Strugut was out.
10:58pm: Virlanuta vanquished in 36thLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
Marian Virlanuta led for a lot of this present day 2, but his time by and large even has come to an end.
He opened to 22,000 and was three-bet to 65,000 by Peters Tobias. Virlanuta called.
A J♥7♣9♣ flop fell and Tobias c-bet for 78,000, only Virlanuta to transport all-in for around 170,000. Tobias couldn't get his calling chips in quicker and the cards were revealed:
Virlanuta: J♠3♠Tobias: K♠K♣
Any three or Jack would save Virlanuta, but it surely came the 6♣ at the turn and the 7♠ at the river. He's now off to assemble his €2,530 for the 36th place finish.
10:48pm: Just five tables leftLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
The room was absolutely choked with Day 2 players this morning. Now the sector was whittled all the way down to just 36 spread over just five tables.

10:36pm: Dichev cracks a millyLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
Yasen Dichev was chip leader on the last break, and now he's much more so. He's the primary player to damage the only million chip barrier, and currently sits with 1.75 million.
Yasen Dichev
10:26pm: The cost is not rightLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
Alin Petrisor Pandilica opened to 20,000 from the under the gun and it folded to former chip leader Marian Virlanuta who made the call, as did Sason Erez from the massive blind.
The flop came the T♦5♣T♥ and it checked to Virlanuta who led for 31,000. Only Pandilica called to peer the 3♥ turn. He checked again and now the bet from Virlanuta was 75,000. Pandilica counted his chips carefully and decided to transport all-in for 136,000. Virlanuta was priced in and called.
He had the J♠Q♦ so hoped to hit something, but in truth he tried to muck when he Pandilica had the 5♦5♥. The river was the 9♦ and Pandilica doubled to near to 300,000.

10:06pm: Another double for CarmenLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
Carmen Zainescu appears to be stuck in a loop of doubling up then getting short again. Well, it is time for another cycle as she's just doubled along with her Ace-ten vs Ionut Dragos' Ace-five. A 10 at the flop has brought her stack back to 190,000.

10pm: Two more hoursLevel 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000 ante)
Just two more levels left for Day 2.
Meanwhile, the €330 Bucharest Cup is nearing its conclusion, and the €2,200 high roller is currently underway.

9:45pm: Last break of the nightLevel 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000 (1,000 ante)
We'll be back in 15 minutes.
9:44pm: Hollywooding, not slowrollingLevel 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000 (1,000 ante)
After Georgian Luta Balu moved all-in from under the gun for 87,000, it folded around to Mihai Manole at the button and he went into the tank for a few minutes. Eventually he slid out only a flat call.
The blinds quickly folded, after which Balu turned over his A♣K♥. You'd think if someone thought for that long he would not have that beat, but seems Manole had the A♦A♠. He wasn't slowrolling though; he was acting weaker in order that he'd maybe get one of the crucial blinds to raise.
Anyway, the board ran out K♣6♦3♥J♥6♣ and Balu hit the rail just a little frustrated.
9:38pm: Double up for CarmenLevel 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000 (1,000 ante)
We heard Carmen Zainescu celebrating so went over to look what was up. Seems she'd got her last 120,000 all-in at the turn of a J♣K♠3♥7♦ board with the K♦3♦, prior to Mihai Ciorteanu's K♥T♥. The river came the K♣ and her full house beat his trips, bringing her stack as much as around 250,000.
9:30pm: Latest eliminationsLevel 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000 (1,000 ante)

9:10pm: Jabra Cadabra! Johny survives without knowing itLevel 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000 (1,000 ante)
Johny Jabra is on cloud nine at this time. Not only because he doubled up, but because for a couple of seconds there he thought he'd been eliminated.
He was all-in with the 7♥7♦ for 64,000 against Nicolae Buse's A♥J♣. The board ran out safe for him until the A♦ river, at which point he got up and wished everyone good luck.
Thing is, there have been three more diamonds at the board too and Jabra had won it with a flush! He's as much as above 130,000 now.
Jabra's still in
8:57pm: Clarke still going strongLevel 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000 (1,000 ante)
Ireland's Gary Clarke opened to 17,000 from under the gun plus one and got a caller in his neighbour to the left, Andrei Erohin. The flop came the K♥T♠Q♣ and Clarke continued for 18,000. Erohin thought for some time but gave it up, showing the A♣ as he did. That prompted Clarke to do him a favour and show him his cards too - the A♥K♣ for prime pair and a gutshot.
Clarke's as much as 300,000 now.
18 | 4,000 | 8,000 | 1,000 |
Adrian Ionescu (there are various Adrian Ionescu's here in Bucharest who play poker - we had about ten on this tournament!) moved all-in under the gun for 67,000 and it folded around to Gabriel Gavrila within the big blind. He snap-called for stack of approximately 60,000 with the Q♠Q♦ and was up against Ionescu's A♥K♦.
The El Clásico of poker races started rather well for Ionescu. The 8♦A♠4♦ flop put him ahead, and the J♠ turn and A♣ river kept him there. Gavrila hit the rail to gather his €1,970, while Ionescu is now playing 130,000.

8:10pm: Zainescu making movesLevel 17 - Blinds 3,000/6,000 (1,000 ante)
Carmen Zainescu, the only female left on this Day 2 field, opened to 16,000 from the cut-off and got one caller - Eugen Gabriel Chiva from the massive blind.
The flop came the 4♦A♦T♣ and Zianescu opted to not c-bet, checking it to Chiva who put out a gamble of 18,000. Zainescu then went straight for her chips and counted a raise to 41,000. Chiva thought for a minute or so before letting it go.
Zainescu showed the table her hand - the 2♥2♦ - but it surely turned out she was bluffing with the most productive hand. Chiva showed his J♦7♥ for complete air.
7:50pm: Three more goneLevel 17 - Blinds 3,000/6,000 (1,000 ante)
We've had three eliminations within the opening minutes of the level.

7:45pm: Welcome backLevel 17 - Blinds 3,000/6,000 (1,000 ante)
Players are back of their seats after dinner. We'll be playing four more 60-minute levels today.
6:47pm: Dinner time
PLayers are taking a one-hour dinner break.
6:43pm: Here comes the avalancheLevel 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000 (500 ante)
Players are busting like madmen now they know they've secured some cash. People who have exited within the last 10 minutes and win €1,740 each are:
76. Vlad Alexandru Lazariciu77. Adrian Ioan Ionescu78. Spiridon Tonikidis 79. Mircea Alexandru Flutur80. Sorin Petre Radulescu81. Constantin Manole82. Paulos Patsis83. Adrian Iancu84. Adrian Costin Constantin85. Neculai Macovei86. Adamou Christodoulos87. Tudor Popa
6:33pm: It's burst! Gheorghe Bogdan Ionescu bubbles Eureka6 BucharestLevel 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000 (500 ante)
What an epic end to hand-for-hand play: three all-ins and calls. Three spots to burst the bubble.
In the primary table we went to, Adrian Costin Constantin was all-in with the K♦K♣ v the A♠Q♣ of chip leader Marian Virlanuta. It ran out 2♥Q♥7♦7♥8♦ and Constantin doubled.
Then, we went to see Antonino Karman, who was all-in with pocket Kings too: the K♥K♣ against Yasen Dichev's sheepishly-revealed J♦4♦. The board came the 8♣6♥Q♣Q♠A♠ and he survived too.
Then finally, we saw Gheorghe Bogdan Ionescu all-in from the massive blind with the A♥Q♥ against UK player Florian Dimitrie Duta's J♦9♦. It looked good for the Romanian, but that every one changed at the flop.
Ionescu before the flop sunk in
It fell the 8♦7♠T♣ giving Duta the nut straight. Ionescu needed running cards, however the 2♦ turn and 6♥ river were no help to him.
...and after the river
Ionesco exited in 88th, and everybody is now within the money!
All videos by Tomas Stacha - who apologises for the shakiness. "I USED TO BE taking photos jointly"! he says.
6:25pm: Carry on survivingLevel 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000 (500 ante)
We've had several all-in and calls now however the at-risk players keep it up doubling.
6:07pm: Nothing yetLevel 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000 (500 ante)
Three hands of bubble action and never a single all-in and speak to yet to report.
5:52pm: Florin Vasile Haiduc soft bubblesLevel 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000 (500 ante)
Florin Vasile Haiduc is our soft bubble boy. He moved all-in with the Q♠J♣ and was called by Valentin Anghel who aroused from sleep with the A♦A♣. It ran out 8♠K♦2♥Q♥6♦ and he was out in 89th.
We're now at the bubble.
5:46pm: Going softLevel 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000 (500 ante)
With 89 players remaining, we're now at the soft bubble.
16 | 2,500 | 5,000 | 500 |
5:37pm: Two eliminations - one nastier than the otherLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)
Play has naturally slowed somewhat as we approach the money bubble, but listed below are the 2 most up-to-date eliminations. One was...pretty gross.
On Table 5, Adrian Nicolae Ionescu moved all-in for around 50,000 and it folded to Bogdan Diaconu within the big blind who called. He had the Q♦Q♠, but that was trailing Ionescu's A♠A♥. The board ran out A♣5♥5♣4♠4♦ and Diaconu was gone.
Then over on Table 1, Armand Alexandru Matti opened to 8,000 and got a decision from Cristian Vornicu. Avishai Shitrit then squeezed to 24,000 from the large blind and Vornicu jammed for around 60,000 and was called.
Vornicu was looking good together with his K♣K♦ against the J♥Q♦ all of the strategy to activate the 8♥Q♥5♣9♠ board.
But the river changed everything. It came the T♣ giving Shitrit a running straight, and Vornicu couldn't believe it. He was gone.
5:28pm: Six to goLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)
94 players remain so five more exits and we'll be at the hard bubble.
5:22pm: Bubble abuseLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)
Chip leader Marian Virlanuta is admittedly abusing the upcoming bubble, putting players to the test and never tolerating any stalling from the smaller stacks.
In a hand I just caught, Sason Erez opened to 9,000 under the gun and the action was on short-stacked Petrica Lombada. He was thinking for greater than a minute, and kept looking up on the screen to peer if there have been any updates on other eliminations. Eventually Virlanuta called the clock, and Lombada folded.
It then folded around to Virlanuta who defended from the large blind. The flop was the 5♣3♣A♣ and he checked to Erez who continued for 12,000. That was called, and when the dealer was burning and turning the T♠ turn Virlanuta checked within the dark.
Erez fired again for 17,000, and that too got a handy guide a rough call. The river came the 8♣ bringing four clubs on board, and now Virlanuta bet 55,000 putting Erez to the test. He folded.
Virlanuta turned over the 3♥4♥ for only a pair of threes."Ah you had a straight," said a confused Erez. "No, wait...you didn't? Ah, good raise."
5:02pm: Players falling left and rightLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)
We're now just nine eliminations clear of the cash. The most recent to head are:
Cristian Tardea, Florian Rosa, Shahar Ohayon, Mayan Lawrence Shih, Slaven Popov, Lida Doron Zvi, Lucian Mihai Barbu, Florin Popescu, end of Day 1B chip leader Taranko Grzegorz, Victor Ciubotaru, Bogdan Ioan Agica, Marian Valentin Tiuntiuc, Vlad Ardeleanu, Georgios Charmpilas, Eugen Stefan Predescu, Kitanov Stoyan, Mihai Manole, and Mihai Adrian Grigoriu.
4:55pm: Zainescu at the upLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)
Carmen Zainescu goes from strength to strength, having just eliminated another player. She called the 28,000 shove of Lucian Mihai Barbu with the A♠J♠ and was way sooner than his A♥8♠. The flop came the 4♠T♥5♠ giving her the nut flush draw, and she'd hit it at the 9♠ turn. The 5♣ completed the board and sent Barbu on his way, while Zainescu now sits with 155,000.
4:45pm: Another one bites the dustLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)
Florin Popescu moved all-in for his last 23,500 and Canadian Daniel Ricardo called at the button. It fodled to Gary Clarke within the big blind and the Irish player made the decision too.
The flop was the 4♦2♥T♣ and Clarke checked, which resulted in Ricardo taking control with a 35,000 bet. That got Clarke out of ways and the cards were flipped.
Popescu should have thought the flop was good for him along with his 9♣T♦ - and it was; only problem was he'd still wish to hit as Ricardo had the Q♠Q♥.
The turn was the 6♥, and the river came the K♣ to eliminate local player Popescu.
4:36pm: The highest of the pileLevel 15 - Blinds 2,000/4,000 (500 ante)

4:06pm: In your bikeLevel 14 - Blinds 1,500/3,000 (400 ante)
Remember this guy from yesterday?
The mystery biker
Well, it turned out to Californian-via-Bucharest player Cornel Pazaria, and he'd end making it through Day 1B to fight again today.
However, his easy rider has come to an end, as he's just been eliminated. He got his last 60,000 all-in with the 8♠T♠ versus the A♠A♣ of Petrica Lombada on an 8♦K♠5♠ flop, or even managed to hit his flush at the 7♠ turn. However, the river was the J♠ which gave Lombada the nut flush, sending Pazaria away on his bike. Good game sir.
3:48pm: Przgorezewski happy to flip and winLevel 14 - Blinds 1,500/3,000 (400 ante)
Poland's Blazej Przgorezewski just moved all-in for his last 22,000 with the Q♣9♣, and wasn't ecastatic when Nihat Karyagdi snap-called. However, he was more relieved when he saw he was in a race against the 7♦7♥.
"Phew! We're flipping!" he said because the dealer put out a flop. It came the K♣9♦2♥, pairing his nine and giving him the lead. The turn was the T♣ and river the A♥, and that secured him the double as much as roughly 56,000.

3:25pm: A VISIT down memory lane for Yogev KudadiLevel 13 - Blinds 1,200/2,400 (300 ante)
Yesterday was a perfect day for Israel's Yogev Kudadi. He found himself sat only one player clear of his poker idol, Team Pro Daniel Negreanu, and managed to make all of his friends within the room jealous with this snap.
Yogev Kudadi with Negreanu on Day 1B
Alas, today has not been so great for him. He was just eliminated after you have his last 12,500 all-in with the A♣T♦ against Nihat Karyagdi's 5♦5♥, only to peer his opponent flop a suite at the 3♥5♣2♠ board. It was completed by the J♠ turn and K♦ river and that was all she wrote for Kudadi.
Still, he'll always the memories.
Kudadi is gone
3:15pm: Cohen's goin'Level 13 - Blinds 1,200/2,400 (300 ante)
Avi Cohen suffered a devastating blow earlier when flopped set of Queens were no good against a flopped broadway. Well, things didn't get any better for him and he now finds himself out of the principle event.
The table broke right after this hand so I COULD NOT catch the names of the opposite players involved, but Cohen jammed over a raise and three-bet for 41,000 and was called in a single spot by a player with pocket Aces. The person from Israel had the A♦K♦, but got no assistance on the run-out.

We only had a handful of girls playing on this event, and the last one standing is local player Carmen Zainescu. She just eliminated a player with pocket Aces over King-Queen, and is sitting on a stack of around 100,000 right now.

2:25pm: What a river for Clarke!Level 12 - Blinds 1,000/2,000 (300 ante)
Ireland's Gary Clarke just hit a miracle river to stick alive here on Day 2.
After Catalin Luca opened to 5,000 and Ahmed Ahmed called at the button, Clarke made it 20,000 to move from the small blind. Luca came along, but Ahmed passed.
The flop was the 7♦Q♦4♠ and Clarke decided to only jam - an enormous bet of 90,300. Luca snap-called though as he had hit top set along with his Q♥Q♠, while Clarke's K♣K♠ were in big trouble.
The J♥ turn was no help, but BOOM! The K♦ came out of nowhere at the river to avoid wasting Clarke and provides him a large stack of 188,000. Meanwhile, Luca was crushed all the way down to just 17,000.
Nice bink for Clarke
2:18pm: When big stacks attractLevel 12 - Blinds 1,000/2,000 (300 ante)
The end of Day 1A chip leader, Victor Emanuel Beteringhe, still has various chips in front of him - 208,000 to be exact. Thing is, the player to his left has even more.
On a flop of 9♦T♣7♥, Beteringhe and Marian Virlanuta checked from the blind positions to the pre-flop raiser Mihai Gabriel Niste. He continued for 7,000, which Beteringhe called, just for Virlanuta to make it 25,000 to move. Both players gave it up and that brought Virlanuta's stack to around 240,000. I CANNOT make sure that until the break, but that's got to be up there fighting for the chip lead.
Marian Virlanuta

1:45pm: Floppin' the nutsLevel 11 - Blinds 800/1,600 (200 ante)
When I saw George Simionescu opened to 3,500 from early position, I sensed a large pot was about to happen. Call me psychic, lucky, whatever you need; but I USED TO BE right.
It folded to Alexandru Anghel at the button and he flatted, just for Israel's Avi Cohen to make it 11,600 to head from the large blind. Simionescu then shoved all-in for 57,900, Anghel folded, and Cohen made the call.
The Romanian had the A♦K♣ while it was the Q♥Q♣ for Cohen. The El Clásico of races.
The flop was very wet indeed. It came the T♠J♥Q♦ giving Simionescu broadway but Cohen top set. He'd need the board to pair or to hit the case Queen to win, however it came the 7♠ at the turn and the 3♠ at the river.
Simionescu is as much as 117,000, while Cohen has dropped to 14,000.
1:42pm: Bon AppétitLevel 11 - Blinds 800/1,600 (200 ante)
Eugen Gabriel Chiva opened to 3,500 from the cut-off and Cristian Costea called at the button. Nihat Karyagdi defended his big blind, and it was three players to the flop.
It came the K♣4♦8♦ and Karyagdi checked, letting Chiva continue for 5,800. Costea then instantly moved all-in for around 53,000 and Karyagdi got out the best way. Chiva had an overly similar stack size to the all-in player, so it was essentially for his tournament.
After a minute of thinking he gave his hand up and Costea raked within the chips, just as a waiter arrived along with his sandwich that he'd ordered. It will taste significantly better now.
1:32pm: More to your listLevel 11 - Blinds 800/1,600 (200 ante)
Australia's Poker Hall of Fame member Jason Gray is the newest player to fall. Joining him at the rail are Corneliu George Tara , Hristodorescu Daniel, Vasile Claudiu Dragomir, Sebastian Ionut Mihai, Iani Tulica, Keret Dor, Iury Wolf, Anatoli Halca, Cosmin Constantin Calea, and Theodoros Savvidis.
1:25pm: The oligarch is outLevel 11 - Blinds 800/1,600 (200 ante)
Russian oligarch Anatoly Korochensky had a brief and never in any respect sweet begin to Day 2.
He lost a large chunk of chips in a hand against Ilan Buskila which started with a 3,500 open from Yordan Yordanov Mitrentsov. Korochensky made the call, and Buskila defended his big blind.
The flop came the 6♥A♠T♣ and everybody checked, taking us to the J♥ turn. It checked to Korochensky and he took a 6,000 stab on the pot, only to be raised to 20,000 by Buskila. Mitrentsov got out of the way, however the Russian came along.
Korochensky on Day 1A
The river was the 6♣ and Buskila jammed quickly for 28,200. Korochensky had him covered and gave a confident nod to signify his call, but his confidence was shattered when Buskila turned over the K♦Q♦ for a straight. Korochensky had the A♦T♦ for 2 pair but it surely was no good and he dropped to 45,000 in chips.
That was still an excessively playable stack at this blind level, but by the point I got back to base as a way to report at the hand I saw that he'd be eliminated.
1:15pm: Dropping like fliesLevel 11 - Blinds 800/1,600 (200 ante)
As always in the beginning of Day 2s, there's numerous gambling early on because the short stacks attempt to give themselves a fighting shot by doubling up. Of course, that does not always work out, leading to some speedy eliminations.
The players who've already exited today are:
Marius Alexandru Gicovanu, Wieslaw Michal Wejner, Dacian Vlad Tat, Radu Alin Catoiu, Richard Fitz Randolph Jr, Ionel Catalin Pruna, Onoufriou Antonios, Ion Silviu Scobai, Andrei Acatincai, Radu Lungu, Erik Scheidt, and Oren Platoni.
1pm: Shuffle up and dealLevel 11 - Blinds 800/1,600 (200 ante)
Cards are within the air here on Day 2. Let's go!
12pm: Day 2 excitement is building...
For the primary time within the tournament, our entire field (and our eventual champion) might be within the same room. It is time for Day 2 of Eureka6 Bucharest, and 248 players who made it through either the Day 1A, 1B, or the last night's turbo 1C flight might be combining.
The plan is to play 10 levels today; Levels 11 to fourteen will remain 45 minutes in length, and from Level 15 onwards they'll be increasing to 1 hour.
The player leading the pack is Victor Emanuel Beteringhe - a teacher who lives here in Bucharest. He qualified for this event in a live satellite and told us after his epic Day 1A run that had he not qualified he do not need even played. Well, at this time he's the one player with greater than 200K in chips (202,425 to be precise).
Beteringhe's chip leader
Today we'll have the ability to announce the prize pool, which also means the little matter of the bubble. Stick around - you will not wish to miss it.
Play kicks off at 1pm.
