Poker Pros Doyle Brunson, Vanessa Selbst Get In Ugly Twitter ExchangeNO Deposit bonus $43

As election day draws near, it seems that politics have driven an enormous wedge between two of the most productive no-limit hold’em players the sport has ever seen.

Poker Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson and three-time bracelet winner Vanessa Selbst got into it on Thursday over Trump vs. Clinton. The argument began with Brunson saying something anti-Clinton and Selbst chiming in. It ended with both poker players taking a shot at each other’s character within the gambling world.

Brunson referenced a controversial prop bet Selbst had this past summer on the World Series of Poker with Jason Mercier. Selbst responded, “Yeah, paying $100,000 [equals] welching. I doubt you desire to start a debate about ethics in poker.”

The 83-year-old poker legend not competes on the WSOP, but he’s still a fixture in high-stakes cash games in Las Vegas. Selbst, 32, is a Yale Law School grad and the highest female tournament earner of all time.
