USA Today Sports

Change is within the air in Minnesota, and Timberwolves fans are buying what the team's selling - literally.

With the departure of All-Star PF Kevin Like to Cleveland in exchange for 2013 and 2014 #1. overall picks Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins (in addition to the purchase of Thaddeus Young from Philadelphia as a part of the 3 team trade), the T-Wolves are having no problems on the box office.

The franchise has sold 300 full season-ticket packages within the last week, enough to surpass the former record set in 2011 when PG Ricky Rubio announced he was leaving Spain to enroll in the team.

Timberwolves senior vice-president and chief revenue officer Ryan Tanke told ESPN "The organization, from president-level on down has just been re-energized. A part of it's hope, and you've got this great new hope."

The talented trio will join Rubio, big man Nikola Pekovic and 2014 No. 13 overall draft pick Zach LaVine among others to create a fresh look in Minnesota. The Wolves haven't made the playoffs because the Kevin Garnett era - a drought that's reached 10 years after their 2013-14 10th place finish within the Western Conference.

As of Monday, the LV SuperBook has Minnesota's odds to win the 2014-15 NBA Championship at 100-1.
