The High Heels Poker Tour, created in 2007 by Lauren Failla in South Florida, has entered into an agreement with PokerStars wherein the net operator will sponsor both the tour and college run by High Heels. HHPT is a tour dedicated to female poker players, and is devoted to assist women in any respect levels enhance their game and explore poker in a cosy environment.
PokerStars.net is the biggest online poker school, and can work with the High Heels Poker Tour Academy to assist" women gain the data and experience so as to better expose the them to the vast growing sport of tournament poker," consistent with the HHTP press release.
In addition to its own string of events, HHTP will now include satellite tournaments featuring entry into a few of PokerStars' big events. Failla praised PokerStars as setting an example for aspiring female poker players.
“With champions like Vanessa Rousso, Katja Thater, and Vicky Coren, our players have a complete new set of role models to emulate and challenge, online and on the tables," stated Failla.
PokerStars will sponsor the HHPT events scheduled across the country, a growing list of tournaments handled by Failla, including three upcoming events in Florida.
HHPT events are restricted to ladies entries, and in barely two years has blossomed to incorporate events in New York, New Orleans, and Las Vegas.
