Ioannis has a Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, a Masters in Electronic and Telecommunication and a PhD in Bio-Engineering. He served as general commercial & strategy director for the Intralot Group for 17 years. During his time in Intralot he developed and proposed the tactic and business opportunities within the global gaming markets to the company’s top management, also serving because the lead in winning management and operation contracts in lots of countries world wide. He established MALTCO Lotteries in Malta (2001), because the operator of the National Lottery of Malta, the primary privatized lottery globally. From 2012 he served as executive CEO of the corporate. On account of his global achievements he was elected in September 2015, member of the PGRI Gaming Industry Hall of Fame.
