PokerStars: 'We're Now Closer Than Ever' To Regulated Online Poker Expansion In AmericaNO Deposit bonus $43

Thanks to extremely active legislative efforts in California, Michigan, Pennsylvania and The big apple to authorize real-money online poker, Amaya-owned PokerStars is urging poker players to contact local lawmakers so that you could increase the percentages of legislation passing.

The remarks came in a widely-circulated company blog post dated June 15.

“There’s never been a more important time for American online poker players to make their voices heard than right now,” Eric Hollreiser, PokerStars’ Vp of Corporate Communications, wrote. “Today, lawmakers are considering online poker legislation within the statehouses of California, Michigan, Big apple and Pennsylvania […] There’s real, growing momentum pushing for licensing in these states and we’re now closer than ever to the finishing line.”

Referencing grassroot lobbying efforts by the Poker Players Alliance, PokerStars said that poker players should “call, email and Tweet your elected officials to remind them how important the regulation of online gaming truly is.”

Currently, just Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware have regulated online gaming industries. PokerStars is purely involved with the games in New Jersey.

No state has passed online poker legislation since 2013.
