YouStake Performance of the Week: Ryan Laplante Putting His Mark of the 2016 WSOP | PokerNews

We figure that with the run he's on, and at time of writing he's on the final table of the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship event, we'll be using him within the weeks to return. For now, we need to concentrate on Ryan Laplante, who currently leads the WSOP Player of the Year race.
Laplante has earned eight WSOP cashes this summer, as he made the cash within the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Low event this afternoon. That's very impressive, and it isn't that he is just min-cashing either.
Laplante won the $565 Pot-Limit Omaha event that attracted 2,483 entries. By doing so, he scooped up his first gold bracelet and $190,328 in cold, hard cash. Most recently, Laplante took 21st in a field of 665 entries within the $1,500 Limit Hold'em tournament, almost reaching another final table, but settling for $5,155.
All told, Laplante has earned over $211,649, and that does not include the money within the Omaha hi-low event because he hasn't busted out yet.
Laplante's someone who was around for many years in poker, with live cashes going back to 2011, but he's never truly had a breakout. This summer, that's all changing, as Laplante is as hot as anyone on the 2016 WSOP.
With eight cashes, the present WSOP Player of the Year lead, over $210,000 in earnings, and a gold bracelet, Ryan Laplante is your YouStake Performance of the Week.
