Andras "probirs" Nemeth took down the Sunday Million this weekend which, with a field of 6,725 was one of the vital bigger ones. As Martin Harris reported for the Blog, his first prize of $164,244 came after a 3 way handle second placed Penelas08 and Paulo "tricotijr" Novaes.

Over on the World Series of Poker Team Pros were in action, with Daniel Negreanu going deep twice over the weekend.
Negreanu finished in fourth place in Event #13, a $1,500 Seven Card Razz event, ultimately won by American Rep Porter, but a finish (if just a little premature) worth $42,000.
Meanwhile within the 2-7 Lowball Championship Negreanu finished in 14th place, picking up another $15,464. However it was not Negreanu getting the headlines such a lot as team mate Jason Mercier, who leads going into the general day of the competition.
Mercier leads the overall nine the one player with greater than one million chips and in pursuit of what can be his fourth career WSOP bracelet. If that occurs it is going to be against some serious opposition. PCA winner Mike Watson is in second place and Stephen Chidwick in third.
