$300K GPPT Online and $7.8MM Powerfest Start This Weekend at partypoker | PokerNews
There is plenty to get fascinated about at partypoker this weekend way to the $300,000 guaranteed Grand Prix Poker Tour (GPPT) Online tournament and the $7.8 million guaranteed Powerfest series kicking off on Sunday, May 1.
Sunday marks the beginning of the third GPPT Online, a multi-day tournament costing $109 to enter, and featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000. On a daily basis from May 1-9, there are three Day 1s.
Players play for 16 12-minute levels (eight minutes or the turbo), and in the event that they have chips in front of them on the end of the 16th level, they make it through to Day 2 at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9. Every day 1 is a freezeout, but players can play in as many Day 1s as they need. Despite the fact that they progress to Day 2. Week 1 is the Featherweight week, because of this all the buy-ins, excluding the $11 buy-in $50,000 guaranteed Main Event on Sunday, May 8, are $5.50. Despite the low buy-ins, not one of the guarantees are lower than $5,000, and there's a minimum of one five-figure guarantee every day.
