Missouri, Colorado Governors Signs Daily Fantasy Sports Bills Into LawNO Deposit bonus $43

Missouri and Colorado became the newest states to pass online gaming legislation, but it’s not for casino games at the web.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon on Friday signed the Missouri Fantasy Sports Consumer Protection Act, which establishes regulation on DFS. Also on Friday, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper enacted his state’s DFS bill. Both moved relatively quickly through their respective legislatures.

They are the fifth and sixth states to position a law at the books to control the booming DFS industry, a growing segment of the $26 billion fantasy sports market in North America.

Players in both states have to be no less than 18 years of age. Also, contests on collegiate and highschool sports are prohibited in both jurisdictions.

The other states that experience passed DFS legislation are Indiana, Virginia, Tennessee and Mississippi. Pennsylvania and The big apple are both considering the games.

The Keystone State and the Empire State are both eyeing Internet poker as well.
