Just just like the weekend prior there has been live PokerStars action to settle in addition to that online. All of which was going down on the last ever UKIPT festival in Birmingham, England.
The UKIPT started back in late 2009 and over the process six seasons has crowned numerous winners, some twice, and others who used it as a spring board to careers that come with EPT and World Series wins, and regular appearances within the High Roller contests of worldwide poker.
So it was with some sadness that the UKIPT enjoyed its final hurrah, albeit before the branding is changed, together with the name, and UK events become a part of the PokerStars Festival world. Gone then, but not entirely forgotten.
That certainly applies to the winner also, Ted Jackson-Spivack, who defeated UKIPT (and now EPT) regular Ludovic Geilich to a primary prize of £35,000 on the Star Casino in Birmingham. Our reporting team of Marc Convey and Nick Wright were courtside from the beginning with live updates from every day available here. To read the recap of that final table, click here.
