Phil Hellmuth Guns For His 14th World Series of Poker Bracelet In Australia



Poker Hall of Famer Phil Hellmuth is purely five players clear of winning his 14th World Series of Poker bracelet and increasing his lead because the all-time leader in WSOP titles.

Hellmuth is currently fifth in chips of six players remaining within the 2014 WSOP Asia Pacific $2,200 AUD six-max no-limit hold’em event on the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. That is the ‘Poker Brat’s’ 108th cash and 51st final table finish in a WSOP event, and he's also taking a look at becoming only the third player to win gold bracelets on three continents, with Daniel Negreanu and Jeff Lisandro having already achieved that unique distinction.

Also of note on the final table in 2014 November Niner Bruno Politano. The Brazilian is by far the shortest stack of the rest six, but continues to be in with a possibility to win a bracelet before returning to Las Vegas in November to play for the title of WSOP main event champion.

The final table gets underway at 12:10 p.m local time on Saturday, October 11th. There'll be a live stream of the action available at WSOP.com beginning at approximately 3:10 p.m. EST for American fans.
