Help prevent the spread of Ebola



The Ebola virus is spreading and the crisis could quickly spiral uncontrolled. Families in Sierra Leone and Liberia desperately need your help.

More than 4,900 people have already lost their lives in what was confirmed because the largest and deadliest Ebola outbreak in history. By the start of December, there might be 5,000-10,000 new cases per week.

As the outbreak rages on, people's lives are at a standstill. Many reside in fear and compelled to be prisoners of their homes, while children are denied the liberty to play or attend school. Livelihoods was disrupted and communities quarantined. The impact of Ebola is felt far beyond folks that have contracted the fever.

CARE International, our emergency partner, is responding to the crisis in West Africa, but urgently needs all of our support to assist prevent the disease spreading further. Proper hygiene is important to forestall infection, so CARE's efforts include distributing soap, buckets, gloves and chlorine.
