According to a press release, the purchase provides NYX with a business-to-business poker network. NYX has existing casino, bingo and lottery products in Europe and the US.

"NOT JUST does this acquisition provide NYX Gaming Group with among the best poker products within the industry, it also gives us access to products which are regulated in different jurisdictions, and more importantly a talent pool that may help grow all parts of our business.”
The head of a company with physical presences in Stockholm, Las Vegas and Sydney added: "With NYX OGS arguably the fastest growing casino product out there today, we're just firstly of an ideal journey. The addition of Ongame is an ideal begin to our strategic plans for continued growth in Europe and the us. We're committed to the mixing and development of the product and plan to take a position on this new business with the intention to leverage every asset for future growth.”
NYX is preparing for a public listing at the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The firm also runs Card Player Poker.
Amaya Gaming Group is the landlord of PokerStars and whole Tilt.
