It's never too early to seem ahead to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, particularly because the nights start to draw in, the temperature drops, and sunshine, so recently ever present through the day, now seems nothing greater than memory cast in shadow.
The PCA though can solve all of that with winter sunshine for all--or no less than the potential of it. For for those who succeed on the PCA it typically means you have not been outside for longer than the time it takes to search out coffee--the endless supply of games spread in the course of the festival will keep you upright on your seat in place of prone at the beach.
Among that long list of tournaments is the Women's event, that's at the schedule again for 2015, and remains some of the biggest women-only tournaments at the poker calendar. And again you'll be part of it for a fragment of the $600 buy-in via qualifying events on PokerStars.
Starting on November 2, you'll qualify for the Women's PCA in a single of the special satellite tournaments, with a call on offer of an entire package, or seat, plus a lot of expenses options.
Here are the main points you'll need:
Sunday November 2, at 14:00 ET $215 qualifier with guaranteed $2,700 Women's PCA package ($600 seat, three nights hotel $876 expenses.)Sunday November 9, at 14:00 ET $162 qualifier with guaranteed $1,500 Women's PCA Seat Only package ($600 seat + $900 expenses.)Sunday November 16, at 14:00 ET $109 1R1A qualifier with guaranteed $2,700 Women's PCA package ($600 seat, three nights hotel $876 expenses.)Sunday November 26, at 14:00 ET $215 qualifier with guaranteed $1,500 Women's PCA Seat Only package ($600 seat + $900 expenses.)
(More satellites can be scheduled in December.)
With the focal point at the PCA it does mean that EPT satellites, scheduled on those days, might be paused to make way.
Of course, there's a more direct path to the PCA Women's event and that is the reason to buy-in directly. That'll cost you $600 with the primary day starting on January 13, 2015.
For more information about the PCA women's event, and everything about PS Women, take a look at the webpage. Within the meantime, leave room on your bag for a trophy if it "goes well", damp swim wear and tanning lotion if not.
